Private Label Hand Massagers and OEM Project Planning

H1:Private Label Hand Massagers and OEM Project Planning

A private label hand massager project should start with a defined model, a clear branding brief and a list of changes to the standard configuration. Relanovo's product list marks OEM/ODM cooperation as available for all five hand massagers. The specific options, minimum quantities, charges and schedule depend on the model and the changes requested.

For an initial project, separate logo and packaging requirements from changes to materials, controls or product construction. This helps you compare quotations and understand which decisions need additional samples, development or testing.

Define what you mean by OEM and ODM

These terms are used differently across suppliers, so describe the actual work required. A private label project may use an existing model with agreed branding and packaging. A broader development project may involve changes to appearance, tooling, electronics or operation. Each requires its own feasibility review and approval scope.

Our company profile describes cooperation in logo application, packaging design and appearance or mold development. That establishes areas for discussion, not a promise that every change is possible on every hand massager. Ask us to confirm the available options for your chosen model.

Supply editable artwork and identify the brand owner or authorized artwork contact. Avoid placing compliance marks or performance claims into a packaging design before the supporting scope has been confirmed. The approved box and manual should describe the exact configuration being supplied.

Confirm MOQ at the customization level

The current product list shows 100 pieces for WY-HM08 and 500 pieces for each of HT-1802, WY-HM10, WY-HN052 and WY-15008. Use these as listed starting quantities for an inquiry. They do not establish the minimum for a custom color, newly printed packaging or a changed component.

Ask for the quantity requirement by model, color and packaging version. If you are considering two models, request separate line items rather than assuming the quantities can be combined. Also separate one-time development or tooling charges from the per-unit price so that repeat-order costs are clear.

Our five-model comparison guide can help you choose a starting platform for the project.

Follow a documented approval sequence

Figure 2. A proposed approval sequence for a branded hand massager order.

Begin with a brief that defines the model, market, quantity and intended changes. Ask for a feasibility response and a quotation that identifies what is included. Once the scope is agreed, review artwork and a physical sample appropriate to the project. A packaging proof does not approve the product's function, and a standard functional sample does not approve the final branding.

Record the approved sample, artwork version and specification before production. When a later change is requested, identify its effect on cost, schedule and the documents used for approval. This avoids different teams working from different versions of the same product.

Use the sample inspection checklist to evaluate the physical approval sample.

Build the schedule around the actual scope

Ask for separate estimates for sample preparation, artwork approval, material purchasing, production and shipment. Identify when each period starts and what information or payment is needed to begin it. Allow time for revisions and any required testing.

A delivery target should distinguish factory completion from arrival at the destination. The freight route, customs process and delivery arrangement affect the latter. Share the date you need the goods at your warehouse, then ask for a project schedule that works backward from that requirement.

Keep product documentation aligned with changes

A change in electronics, heating, battery, material or supplied accessory may require a fresh review of the supporting documentation. Ask which parts of the existing file remain applicable and what additional work is needed. Confirm the manufacturer, model designation and final branding shown on the records.

If product development or exclusivity is part of the agreement, document the ownership and permitted use of designs, tools and artwork. Define whether any exclusivity concerns a territory, channel, model or time period. An OEM/ODM label alone does not establish those rights.

Common private label questions

Can I add my logo to an existing model

Logo application is included in the company's stated areas of cooperation. Send the selected model and artwork so the available position, method, quantity and charges can be confirmed.

Can I change the heat or massage program

Describe the required behavior and ask for a technical review. Do not assume a functional change is included in a standard branding order or available across all five models.

Will a custom box change the shipping cost

It can change packed dimensions or weight. Request the final packaging data and obtain a freight quotation for that version before completing your cost estimate.

Send your private label brief

Tell Relanovo your selected model, target market, planned quantity and preferred delivery date. Attach the logo and list the changes you need. Request an itemized proposal covering the available options, sample work and project schedule.
